WaterMarkKit ("the App") is a lightweight offline utility designed for adding text watermarks to images on Android devices. We value user privacy and are committed to protecting user information. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles data, permissions, and user-generated content.

2. No Account System or Cloud Service

WaterMarkKit does not require user registration, account creation, login authentication, cloud synchronization, or online profiles.

The App operates fully offline and does not maintain backend servers for storing user data.

3. Image Access and File Handling

Users select images only through Android system-approved access methods, including Android Photo Picker and Storage Access Framework (SAF).

WaterMarkKit accesses only the files explicitly selected by the user. The App does not scan the device for unrelated images, access private folders without user action, monitor media libraries in the background, or read unrelated files or documents.

4. Local Image Processing

All watermark rendering, image editing, and export processing occur entirely on the user's device. No images, metadata, or generated files are uploaded to external servers.

The App does not perform cloud processing, remote rendering, AI-based image analysis, facial recognition, or content classification.

5. Data Collection

WaterMarkKit does not collect, store, transmit, analyze, sell, or share personal information.

Specifically, the App does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, device identifiers, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, location information, financial information, biometric data, usage analytics, or user-generated image content.

The App also does not use behavioral tracking technologies.

6. Exported Images and Sharing

Exported images are saved only to the location selected by the user or shared only when the user actively initiates sharing.

WaterMarkKit never automatically uploads exported images or shares files without user action. Users remain fully in control of where exported content is stored.

7. Export History

To improve user experience, WaterMarkKit may store export history locally on the device. This information remains entirely on the local device, is not uploaded to any server, is not accessible to the developer, and can be cleared by the user at any time within the App.

8. Permissions

WaterMarkKit follows the principle of minimal permissions. The App does not request MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, avoids broad storage access whenever possible, uses Android privacy-focused file access APIs, and requests only permissions required for core functionality.

Permissions are used solely for selecting images, saving exported files, and user-initiated sharing actions.

9. Third-Party Services

WaterMarkKit does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking frameworks.

The App does not use ad networks, behavioral advertising systems, user profiling services, cross-app tracking technologies, or remote analytics platforms. As a result, no personal data is shared with advertisers or marketing providers.

10. Children's Privacy

WaterMarkKit is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because the App does not collect user data, risks related to children's privacy are minimized.

11. Security

Because all image processing occurs locally and offline, privacy risks associated with network transmission are significantly reduced.

Users remain responsible for protecting their own devices, managing exported files securely, and choosing appropriate storage locations.
